Module

Learning modules contain multiple items relevant to a single chapter, unit, or week of a course. Modules are generally themed and separate and sequence categories of content throughout a course.

Folder

Folders are similar to modules in that they contain multiple different content items. Folders differ from modules as they are not themed nor do they have a specified sequence, but rather are meant to house a list of items to avoid clutter.
